I think it’s important to tell you a little something about myself before getting to my Nuwave oven review. First of all, I am the biggest skeptic in the world. Rudy’s BAR-B-Q is uniquely located in a country store. So, when I first moved to Austin, I used to fill up on gas at Rudy’s, never imagining a place could sell both gasoline and excellent barbecue. It was several months before I finally gave their food a try. It only took one bite before birds were chirping and I was rambling off Jerry Maguire quotes… « You had me at hello, crock pot beef brisket« … « You complete me, Sause »…
4) Barbecues don’t have to be rushed. In fact, barbecue devotees will tell you that today’s quick broiling is an insult to the term, which should represent a process of slow cooking on low heat. You can find many slow cooker bbq brisket online, and the wait is a great opportunity to pass some quality time with your family and friends. Entertaining backyard activities include creating an outdoor canvas to paint on or playing backyard bowling with household items.
I neglected to mention the offerings from Russia. In the case to the left of the bakery goods are the Russian packaged foods that grab your attention after the baked delights loosen their grip on your gaze. I can’t read the labels to tell you what they are but pictures on the packaging would suggest an array of edible slow cooker bbq brisket items including chocolates olives yogurt bolognas kielbasy smoked salmon red caviar and an even more impressing array of pickled items in jars. In front of this case is a stack of Russian newspapers, also in Russian, so I can’t tell whether it’s reporting Russian news or La Jolla’s news in Russian.
As for those non cooks who still have a kitchen and refrigerator, a holiday serving platter with home made cookies, muffins and/or breads on it is sure to be bbq beef cubes. Also fun magnets are always great stocking stuffers!
